What about airfare?
I will assist clients in finding a flight to meet their needs, but we do not typically book airfare to allow more flexibility for clients to handle their air travel reservations. Here are the reasons why it's beneficial for our clients to book their own airfare:
1. Dynamic Pricing of Airlines:
Airline fares can fluctuate dramatically and frequently. As such, we advise our clients to manage their airfare independently to take advantage of any last-minute deals or discounts that may arise, providing them with the most economical option
2. Frequent Flyer Benefits:
Many guests prefer to use or accumulate points with specific airlines. Booking flights directly with an airline can often provide more opportunities to leverage these benefits than when booking through a third party.
3. Direct Communication with Airline:
In the case of flight changes, delays, or cancellations, having booked directly with the airline allows for smoother communication and more efficient resolution, as the airline will have your contact details and preferences on file.
4. Transparent Pricing:
By booking your own airfare, you can ensure complete transparency in pricing without any additional fees that might be associated with third-party bookings.
5. Control Over Travel Plans:
Booking flights directly can give you greater flexibility to manage your itinerary, choose your seats, and make changes as needed without the intermediary of a third party. Remember, our main goal at Concierge Dream Travel is to make all of your overall travel experience smooth and streamlined. Handling your own airfare gives you more control and flexibility, aligning perfectly with the special destination(s) we curate just for you!
What if I prefer you to book the airfare anyway?
I will book airfare on a case by case basis on request. Please note that some services may not be able to be purchased at time of booking including luggage and seat selection, those items may still need to be purchased by you once the airfare is purchased. Booking these add-ons varies by airline.
